Mr. Johann Bernhard Schmees laid the foundation of the present company over 100 years ago. The traditional company: Josef Schmees GmbH & Co. KG was taken over by the oldest son: Carpenter Master Josef Schmees and with great energy and foresight, expanded continuously to the present day company. In order to face new challenges and increase the scope and dimensions of work, he joined forces on 1. January 2001 with Alfred Lühn, who has a Masters in Engineering.
By utilizing the Synergies which became available by joining forces, they have succeeded in building up the company into an excellent and high quality supplier for Timber and Steel orientated projects.
